the recycled air that comes from those shitty little air vents certainly do a stellar job of circulating it around..
the air is changed every 3 minutes, on an airliner.

Yeah I had a puker on a plane once. Fat geezer was asleep as well. Stank the whole of business class.
Recycling air ain't good. Ironically when you were allowed to smoke they used fresh air. Banning smoking saved the airlines a lot of money.

I did it on a packed rush hour tube once when I was with my dad and was inwardly chuckling away revelling in my anonymity until dad loudly proclaimed ugh you dirty bastard for everyone else to hear. Busted

Not a plane, but, my favourite fart trap. Drop a smelly one just before you step out of a lift. As you're stepping out, remark clearly "Can you smell popcorn?"
Walk away, knowing every passenger left behind in the stinkbox will be inhaling deeply to see if they can smell the popcorn too.

A scorching hot day, many years ago (around 1988), I was on the DLR late in the afternoon . It seems there was some kind of beer festival on and the train had lots of big-stomached bearded blokes on board, discussing Ruggles Old Peculiar, etc.
Suddenly there was some kind of power failure. The train stopped, no air con. The beardies continued talking, their conversation punctuated by horrific farts, which they ignored as if they were a perfectly normal part of their discourse. Soon I really did begin to wonder if I would survive. The carriage was full of this awful sulphurous gas, condensation was running down the windows, young women were crying. No mobile phoneson us in those days, no announcements to tell us what was happening.
We were stuck for at least thirty minutes.Truly horrible.
